La semaine dernière, un important séisme d'une magnitude de 7.8 a touché la nouvelle Zélande. Cela a provoqué un déplacement horizontale de 10 mètres et verticale de 2 mètres suivant une faille de 30 km en pleins centre du pays. Et dont le tremblement de terre survenu cette nuit près de Fukushima en est très certainement une réplique.

Une tornade a frappé Venise et de sa lagune provoquant de gros dégâts localement. Des centaines d'arbres ont été détruits par la tempête qui a frappé la partie nord de la ville et certaines petites îles de sa lagune, dont Sant'Elena, Sant'Erasmo et Certosa.
