Une tornade a frappé Venise et de sa lagune provoquant de gros dégâts localement. Des centaines d'arbres ont été détruits par la tempête qui a frappé la partie nord de la ville et certaines petites îles de sa lagune, dont Sant'Elena, Sant'Erasmo et Certosa.
